Passage module malfunction notification

Hi,

Today I installed the Multifunktionsrelais.
Everything is working fine, the only problem is that I always get the error mail:

Passage module malfunction!
The Passage could not be opened / closed! Check the connection and settings!

But the Relay open and close as expected.

The notification 'In case of malfunction of the Passage module:' is checked in my notifications settings.

Ofcource, I can uncheck it, but than I don't get a message if it is really failing.

Also to robot is stopped then when 'Abort mowing operation if error occurs' is checked in the Passage settings. So I already unchecked it, otherwise the mower is stopping every time it want to open/close the Passage.

I have to say that this is not happen always. But 3 a 4 times per week.

For the rest, I like Robonect very much

Also the pushover and other options are very nice.

Hello MarcV,

from your description, I suspect that the reception conditions are not sufficient everywhere in the garden. It could also be related to a change in the AP while sending the command to open or close the gate.

I think I know the problem.

I power the Relay with a solar powerbank. Sometimes I can't reach the Relay also not via IP via the network.
After measuring the voltage on the Relay, I sow that it was not 5V , even when the powerbank was fully charged.
After disconnecting, an reconnection again, it was OK again.
I think the powerbank needs a minimum of current to charge something,

Most power banks switch off after a while because the Relay pulls too little.
